Tamworth Borough Council are seeking to dispose of the freehold of the subject site to a suitably experienced developer via informal tender. Offers are invited conditional on securing planning consent at the site.
Tamworth Borough Council are seeking offers on two bases:
• Offer for the Northern Parcel only.
• Offer for the entirety of the site.
Offers for the Southern Parcel only, of the site will not be accepted.
Whilst Tamworth Borough Council are inviting offers for the site on either the Northern Parcel only, or the entire site, offers are to be based on the confirmed Local Centre requirements, with the definition based on the Tamworth Local Plan description as set out below:
“Local Centres include a range of small shops and perhaps limited services of a local nature, serving a small catchment. Local Centres in Tamworth tend to provide a convenience food store plus a range of other services such as a post office, hot food takeaway, newsagent, library, pharmacy, community centre or doctor’s surgery”
Any offers received for uses that do not comply with the Local Centre allocation will be deemed non-compliant.
